Question 1 Find the gradient of the tangent at x = 10 on the curve with the equation 1x² + 7x + 4
Question 2 Find the equation of the curve given that it passes through the point (3,4) and has the gradient function y' = 7x + 6
Give the answer by inputting the correct values for k, l and m for the equation kx² + lx + m
Question 3 The gradient of curve y = 1x² + 4x + 5 at the point P (x,y) is 3.
Find the x and y coordinates of point P.
Question 4 Find the area enclosed by the x axis and the curve y = x² + 5x between x = 0 and x = 2.
Question 5 Find the gradient of curve where y = 1x² - 5x + 3, where x = 2.
Question 6 A parabola has the equation y = 3x + 2x².
Find the value of x where the gradient is 4.
Question 7 The gradient of a line is 1. Find the equation of the line if it passes through (2, 2).
The answer is in the form Ax + B. Input the values for A and B.
Question 8 Find the gradient of f(x) = x³ + 5x² + 4x + 4 at x = 5.
